On the taxi journey to the Atana Hotel I was lucky to see the Dubai Frame which is being built as another one of the incredible buildings here. It’s in the process of being covered in Gold but wow it’s incredible!
My hotel is based in the Old City of Dubai and this Dubai Frame is a natural split between the Old City and New City of Dubai. Considering Marie’s hotel (the Atana) is in the New City I get to drive past this landmark everyday!
In the future the Dubai Frame will be an attraction that people can pay to go to the top and get spectacular views of the City of Dubai.
In other news, apparently Scott Mills (BBC Radio 1 DJ) is in town and playing at a free party on the Palm Island. Well, that’s the plan for this evening sorted!
