Chilled night in Jaipur – with a few drinks!

This is more of a blog about the social side of this tour. At dinner I was speaking with a few of the group about Travel blogging. I’ve heard of a few people making a career out of it so it was an interesting conversation!

After dinner we went back to the hotel and spent an hour just talking about drinking games and the differences between English and German drinking games and sayings. It’s fair to say when it comes to drinking games the English go way over the top with tons of different games and rules which is probably one of the reasons we have a negative reputation abroad for being drunk and disorderly.

We were also talking about the differences within each country with accents and dialects. It was interesting to learn the different “slang” words we have in both England and Germany.

It was good to have a chilled evening with a few drinks and just socialise as a group. Tours can be very intense and you are always on the go so down time is needed every now and again! Also, it helps you get to know the group better and as I mentioned in a previous post I’ve lucked out with this group again. They’re a very good bunch!
