It took around 3 hours to get to Tordi. We were split into two jeeps which was a pretty cool experience! (See photo below)
They were unlike any jeeps I have been in before. It was like something out of a Jurassic Park film.
To pass the time we played a game on the phone called Heads Up which was good fun. Someone holds the phone to their head and it was say a word or statement and you’ve got to the help the person holding the phone guess what it is without telling them what it says. There are different categories like music, superstars, accents, countries, films. We played this for quite a while it was a brilliant way to pass the time!
The car journey actually went pretty quickly and we made a stop for Chai Tea about half way into the journey. Need to get myself some of this stuff when I get back home.
After another 1 hour 30 minutes in the jeep we arrived in the village called Tordi which should give us more of an experience of rural India. The majority of India resides in rural settings and communities and therefore having an appreciation of what Village life is like is really important.
